- When a group of Shelbyville kids steal Springfield's sacred lemon tree, Bart and his friends venture there to get the tree back.
- Shelbyville kids hijack Springfield's sacred lemon tree after being pelted with lemons, and Bart leads a guerrilla war against them (I say a war, but it's nowhere near violent.) They find out that the tree is in "the impenetrable fortress of suburbia"- a car impound lot, owned by the leader's (Shelby's) dad. Homer and the parents of the kids find them and team up with them to get the tree back. But how are they gonna get it from a car impound lot?—movieguy3
- After catching Bart writing his name in fresh cement, Marge lectures Bart on having more respect for Springfield.
Bart soon wanders around the town, when he decides to join up with Milhouse, to get more lemons for a lemonade stand.
They make their way to a lemon tree near the Springfield/Shelbyville border, where a group of kids from Shelbyville, engage in a verbal assault, that the Springfield kids eventually win.
In the aftermath of the win, Grandpa Simpson shows up, and relays the story about the lemon tree, claiming its planting dates back to the founding of Springfield.
