Very Funny
DaytonMetroSoccer25 January 2009
Okay, I laughed so hard watching this episode! It actually was funny. Yes, it was actually funny! It made me laugh, and I'm even more critical than Roger Ebert. I really did enjoy this episode. The plot revolves around Spongebob, Patrick, and Squidward back in the old days as cave-sea-animals. They discover fire, but begin to argue about it and then the episode explodes into fun for everyone.

It does feature Patchy the pirate (full body, not the stupid little cartoon version) and Potty, along with a robot from the future.

Overall, a funny episode with good laughs here and there and I'm sure even Roger Ebert will enjoy! 7/10

Loved it

Warning: Spoilers
It's very funny as a three main characters back in cave days discovering fire and their personalities are still kind of the same but you get to see it like from before comedy perspective instead of the more modern that we normally get. It is a lighter episode a lot of just fluff but it is funny and entertaining. It's funny to see their stupidity throughout the ages when they stick their head in the fire and just hold it there for like a solid minute. The ending with patchy is also very funny I love the robot in the caveman singing together. It is always nice to see patchy with his bird overall very funny episode but with fluff.

Unfunny garbage.

This episode is stupid. There's barely any comedy, the characters are unlikable, and there's a lot of padding. This episode is also completely unnecessary, as we did get a glimpse of the sea-cave days in the Season 1 episode SB-129. The designs of SpongeGar, Patar and Squidgar look hideous and don't fit into the SpongeBob universe. And we also get another unnecessary appearance from Patchy, but this time, he's joined by an annoying futuristic robot.

Overall, an unfunny, unnecessary and boring episode. 4/10.
