The Interfering Squid & The Inflating Pufferfish

This is a really solid two parter.

Up until this episode, each episode had at least one short that was clearly Inferior to the other. This time NNN is the lesser of the two, but it's still fantastic in its own right.

NNN - 8 or 9 Boating School - 9.5 Overall - 9

The first short is extremely cute with Patrick and SB whispering sweet words of friendship to each other via bubbles. Of course Squidward interferes and then gets what he deserves. It's funny to see Pat and SB fighting.

Boating School is brilliant. Mrs Puff is one of the most memorable characters and we can't help but sympathise with her over the sheer terror of being subjected to SB's irrational fear of practical driving. 1924....

Naughty Nautical Neighbors-an astonishing mix of mild morals and side splitting cartoon comedy. Nearly every single joke is perfectly constructed and there isn't a boring or uninteresting moment, Also, the subtle sexual undertones I began picking up from some of this episode's more adult jokes only added to my enjoyment, making me laugh even harder than I would without these odd additions.

Boating School-a wonderfully weird episode that takes a very simplistic premise and turns it into an extremely creative and clever piece of witty and absurd comedy. It's a boatload of fun! Get it? Boatload? It is a very humorous joke if one has the brain capacity to appreciate such commentary on Marx's theories of dialectic materialism as opposed to those of Hegel's idealism. Anyway, the point is that this is a fun episode that is, of course, jam packed with memorable moments and lines.

Two great episodes in one

Naughty Nautical Neighbors is absolute joy the whole way through. It's hilarious when Squidward blows bubbles towards SpongeBob and Patrick and impersonates them and they fall for it and start shouting at each other - 10/10

Boating School is also a really funny episode, I love when Patrick takes SpongeBob's diary and reads through it without his permission and just laughs his ass off - 9/10

9/10 overall.

Phenomenal Episode!

These two episodes were the best of Season 1 until Pizza Delivery came along, but these two are still phenomenal.

"Naughty Nautical Neighbors" Squidward causes SpongeBob and Patrick to get angry with each other and quit being friends. When Squidward chokes on a soufflé, Patrick saves him and this results in a hilarious chain of events that result in a happy ending. I also like the quote "My best friend, and my ex-best friend and....rubber bath toys!" When I first saw this episode, I laughed for about 10 minutes at that one. 10/10

"Boating School" Boating is like driving underwater, I guess. SpongeBob has failed his boating test 38 times, so he and Patrick resort to (spoilers) cheating to get SpongeBob to pass. The montage in this episode is brilliant. 10/10 10+10=20 20/2=10

When SpongeBob Was Good - IE: Seasons 1-3

If you read the title yes, this is the glory days of SpongeBob, and Nick was going to cancel SpongeBob after the Movie (Season 3) but this episode brings me back to my childhood, when TV was bland and great, with iCarly, Drake & Josh, and Victorious just premiered, this episode had some great moments: When SpongeBob & Patrick were passing notes in Bubbles. When SpongeBob is singing the "Friendship Song". And When SpongeBob was driving with the Antenna in his head. But somethings didn't make sense: When Patrick put the walkie talkie in SpongeBob, why didn't it rip his skin, and where did Patrick put that, was it in place of any organs or something? But it's Cartoon magic, so i accepted it. But overall i rated this a 10 cause i loved Original SpongeBob from the 90's to early 21st century. XD

This is the first episode where we hear sponge-bob do his classic "I'm ready".

And Mrs.puff makes a appearance for the first time!

A perfect balance

Spongebob (the show, not the character) so far has mastered the art of making characters flawed yet sympathetic.

Naughty nautical neighbors (8) Spongebob and Patrick are the textbook definition of manchildren, so seeing them inadvertedly imitate a nasty breakup/rebound is hilarious. Squidward shows that despite being a jerky killjoy, he still has some humanity (for lack of a better word,) making him feel like a complex yet cruel antagonist. It's simple, stupid, and incredibly entertaining.

Boating school (8) Mrs Puff is a character I disliked as a child but really enjoy now. She has every right to be cynical and is a perfect foil to Spongebob as a grounded yet jaded authority figure. Spongebob and Patrick's dynamic carries the segment and the message at the end is both a worthwhile one while also being a humorous payoff to the episode.

Both episodes are solid and worth watching, proving that Spongebob has an unusually impressive first season for a cartoon.

Funny and cute/charming and hilarious

Naughty Nautical Neighbors was a little fun episode with a neat mechanic of the bubble blowing. Not much more going on, so maybe it's slightly above average 3/5.

Boating School was absolutely hilarious. The dialogue is knee-slapping with moments like that guy saying "I doubt it" or Mrs. Puff joking about Spongebob cheating, and the plot itself is pretty unique and funny. I'd say 5/5, just short of absolutely perfect tv.

The show predicted modern exam cheating

Wow, this time I want to talk about the second story of the episode first - "Boating School". It introduces Mrs Puff - a bit flat (imagine) character, but perfect for her purpose in the show. She already has PTSD because of Bob... Honestly, boating school episodes are rarely my favourite, but this one is absolutely perfect! Also who would have known that after a 10+ years people will be able to do such cheating for real! I mean, you don't need to put a radio inside of your head - there are some small earphones and you can make your friend telling you all the answers... I don't know, if you think about it - it's really genius.

The "Naughty Nautical Neighbors" episode might be another Squidward torture episode, but doesn't he deserve it? I mean, he didn't care about the noise - he hates to hear other people laughing and having fun. When he made Bob and Patrick hate each other and yell - he laughed himself and it couldn't stop him from eating the cake... Squidward started it and he was punished for this. Also the episode is really funny to watch, it's full of iconic gags and I love how Patrick saved Squid for real. Like, actually saved him... Patrick from the new episodes would sit on him or something like that...

So yeah, for me this is another pure gold of the series.

I have no clue where I need your help for your money isn't ready now but we don't have one are you sure if we have no idea where can we live I don't know if we cannot buy something gonad I basically we need to save it I not sure what if is gonad work for me not you for your friends what that not far it's Wednesday and then I don't have to pick my McDanielc from school but tomorrow.
