'Put it on my bill,'
Count Duckula decides he needs a break from the norm, so he books a budget room in a hotel, when it comes to paying his bill, he learns that The Transylvanian drachma has crashed.
Lots of laughs here, obviously inspired by the great Fawlty Towers, the hotelier provides lots of laughs with his sarcastic, caustic wit, definitely a character along the lines of Basil Fawlty.
I loved the idea of his room being just a room, I'm sure many of us have had to stay in basic accommodate at times.
Jimmy Hibbert, an actor with a huge list of credits, does a fine job as the irate hotelier, but what a shame John Cleese wasn't asked to do it, that would have been a hoot. Good to hear Ruby Wax again.
8/10.
