Martin is upset to receive a critical, insulting letter in response to his editorial over out-of-control students pulling down a statue. The letter is signed "Rebel" and a concerned Cathy confides in Patty that she is the one who wrote it. Other students have written in support of "Rebel", but Cathy was unaware the editorial without a byline was penned by her uncle. He writes a critical editorial of continued name calling in response of "Rebel". Martin privately writes "Rebel" to meet face-to-face to discuss their differences. However, someone else responds insultingly as "Rebel". Meanwhile, Cathy writes her father a letter to come live with him in Iceland. Patty begins setting a trap to identify the new "Rebel".
