An Incredible, Underrated Simpsons Episode
I_Am_The_Taylrus3 November 2006
Warning: Spoilers
SPOILERS

This episode of the Simpsons I considered to be a wonderful, underrated episode. This episode is great. It's a nice little Bart and Lisa episode. Nancy Cartwright's and Yeardley Smith's performances were fantastic. Well, here's the summary.

Lisa tries to babysit to get extra money, but because she's so young nobody takes her seriously. Then Flanders needs somebody to babysit Rod and Tod because Maude was taking hostage. Lisa does a wonderful job babysitting and word quickly spreads. Now everyone wants Lisa to babysit their children.

The Springfield Squid Port reopens and Homer and Marge want to go. Marge tells Bart that Lisa will be babysitting him. Bart is outraged that someone two years and thirty-eight days younger than him will babysit him. Bart makes Lisa's night horrible. He orders a giant sub that costs $100. Not only does he do that, but he invites Krusty the Clown over, and he feeds Maggie caffeine. She chases Bart around the house and he teases her. While right next to the stairs, he slips and falls down the steps. He dislocates his shoulder and receives a nasty bump on the noggin. She tries to help but he runs away from her, claiming that when Homer and Marge get home, it will be the end of her babysitting.

He locks himself in his room and hits his head on the door. He does it so much that he knocks himself out. Lisa calls 911 and tries to get an ambulance, but Bart's prank calls make it impossible. She wants to call Doctor Hibbert, but she believes that that would be the end of her babysitting job.

She puts an unconscious Bart in a wheel borrow and a hyperactive Maggie in a cat carrier. She sets off to Doctor Nick's.

When she gets there she can't get an appointment and has to leave. She goes to the Springfield Hospital but is stopped by Chief Wiggum. He tells her that he loves the wheel borrow she has and Lisa panics. Where's Bart? Bart had slid down a mud slide into a river next to the Squid Port. People think that Lisa is on drugs, has murdered Bart, and is planning to drown Maggie. She thinks that her babysitting service is over.

The next day Bart apologizes to Lisa. She accepts the apology and is called by Ned Flanders. He asks her to babysit his kids. She is happy that people still want her to babysit.

Overall, this is one of the many gems in Season Eight.

Probably the worst or almost the worst Bart has ever behaved

Warning: Spoilers
How foolish are the adults to trust an 8 year old babysitter in the first place.

Wonder how Bart is able to convince all of those people to show up without any form of deposit and while having a little kid voice.

They just thought Lisa was too responsible.

I really enjoyed this episode.

All the consequences Lisa got were totally undeserved.

The Bart from Hell
Hitchcoc8 August 2022
This is an outrageous episode. Lisa becomes a masterful babysitter and she has kind of a formula that works. This leads to Marge and Homer leaving and putting her in charge. Bart is so angry that he goes to extraordinary means to sabotage his sister. Her best method would have been to wait until the parents were out the door and tell him to do what he usually does. But she sticks to her guns and she is nearly destroyed, along with Bart and Maggie. It is an intense episode, but it shows that finding babysitter trumps anything about the babysitter herself.

"My Sister, My Sitter" is one of the best episodes revolving around Bart's foolishness and Lisa's determination.

Warning: Spoilers
Lisa begins to babysit systematically for numerous people, including Flanders and Dr. Hibbert. She gradually wins respect from the town for her responsibility at her age. As a result, Marge and Homer leave Bart under her babysitting care. They leave the house for the night and Bart is annoyed to be under her command. And so, Bart pulls off numerous moronic acts to annoy the life out of Lisa for no reason. For one, Bart calls over many people... and orders lots of things under their address. All these deliveries and guests arrive on time... pretty much at the same time... and Lisa gets annoyed at Bart. Bart runs around like an imbecile and falls down the stairs... breaking his arm in the process... he's proud of this because he can blame it on Lisa's babysitting. He then proceeds to lock himself in his room and bang his head on the door to hurt himself worse. Soon, he is knocked out as a result of his own stupidity of self-pain infliction. Lisa finds a way into his room and drags him out onto a wheelbarrow. Lisa tries to get him to a hospital... but they slip and fall down a muddy hill... where many onlookers blame Lisa for Bart's condition. Later, Bart gets treated for injuries... and Lisa still gets calls from people to babysit for them... because they don't seem to care about what happened. Very vivid and well-written episode. Lovely how it all concludes... with the truth behind how badly some people need babysitting.

One of my favourite episodes of The Simpsons
This is undoubtedly one of my favourite episodes of The Simpsons.

As much as I sometimes hate Bart for being so out-of-control brat at times, I feel he's right that it's totally outrageous being babysat by his sister who's about two years younger than him, including Lisa is like a know-it-all control freak.

Favourite part where Bart sends visitors to the house, delivery men with giant sandwich with vinegar, Kristy delivers best "Hey, hey!" for emergency bachelor party, paramedics called for sister-ectomy, air force stated Lisa spotted a UFO and Ghanian chauffeur for ambassador.
