Warning: Spoilers
This type of story is a very familiar one, right away you can tell the episode is gonna be a much more zany affair than the terrific preceding "Medusa Bug." It's all about how Bob and Dot have a big falling out over her insufferable bossiness and how little scamp Enzo does the old trick of pretending to be in trouble in order to be 'rescued' and thereby bring the two quarrelling friends back together, only to end up in danger for real on the conveyor belt of some kind of matter vapouriser and having to be saved by his loyal robo-dog Frisket while his would-be rescuers bicker further! It's fun to see the (angry)sparks fly between Bob and Dot! And then to its credit the episode doesn't quite end there and doesn't totally play out as you might predict, as Enzo tries another ploy that backfires, and the action switches to a nifty prison game that forces Bob and Dot to really work together at what they do best fast, 'lest everyone be deleted! I really love the game, there's something very cool and memorable about it. I love the mean-looking blocky User sprite that skips about while the Guardians try to nail him with their big kickass guns! And I also like the trio of bizarre enemy creatures, the eyeball spider thingy, the piano blob and the uh, block...what the hell is that!? I like when they say "Dipswitch" in the Mainframe lingo, cunningly disguising curse words! And I like the cute little things like the little montage of Bob not knowing what to do with himself. (So sprites do have to go the bathroom!) It's the quirky small stuff that often made Reboot run so smoothly. Like for instance when the Binome with the afro breaks the fourth wall! I think it could've done with the real Megabyte putting in an appearance rather than a mere cardboard cutout of him. So it's a bit light, but still a good episode, and one great thing about this show is that there's always much better to come... Later!
