- Stanley Chan: We better get right over to the park and stop him.
- Henry Chan: Hold it. I'm sure Pop knows all about Buckley. If we all go rushing over there, we'll just foul things up.
- [Henry winks]
- Henry Chan: Right, Stanley?
- Stanley Chan: Huh? Oh, yeah, sure. The best thing for all of us to do is just wait here until Pop gets back.
- Alan Chan: If that's what you and Henry want, that's what we'll do. Right, gang?
- Everyone: [while crossing their fingers behind their backs] Right!
- Curator: It's very nice of you to give up a quiet evening at home.
- Charlie Chan: Quiet evening?
- [Charlie chuckles]
- Charlie Chan: I don't have to be a detective to know that you don't have ten children.
- Lord Buckley: The diamonds never should have been left unguarded.
- Charlie Chan: Possibly, but advice after a mistake is like medicine after the funeral.
- Mimi Chan: Let's go back. I'm scared.
- Scooter Chan: Just keep telling yourself you're a Chan. You're brave and fearless.
- Mimi Chan: It won't work.
- Scooter Chan: Why not? It works for me.
- Mimi Chan: Yes, but I know what a big liar I am.
- Stanley Chan: [about the crook] He went into the museum.
- Henry Chan: We have to keep that crook in there until Pop gets here.
- Flip Chan: Let me through. This is a job for a Chan man.
- Scooter Chan: Right. Then what are we waiting for? Let's surround him.
- Mimi Chan: Hold it!
- [restrains Scooter]
- Mimi Chan: You're too young for this caper. You're only six.
- Scooter Chan: What do you mean? How old do you have to be?
- Mimi Chan: Seven.
- [Henry and Stanley overhear a suspicious man's phone conversation]
- Stanley Chan: Do you think...
- Henry Chan: Don't be ridiculous. No one could get near those diamonds.
- Stanley Chan: Unless he wants to end up as a french fried crook.
- [Stanley laughs]
- Stanley Chan: You get it, Henry?
- Henry Chan: I get it, but I don't think I want it.
- Stanley Chan: But how can you know where the jewels are, Pop? There were absolutely no clues.
- Charlie Chan: Very true, but sometimes no clues are biggest clue of all.
- Alan Chan: I'll bet they're talking about the jewel robbery.
- Anne Chan: You know Pop has taught us never to be nosy. Besides, how can we hear through that thick wall?
- Tom Chan: Aural conductance can be significantly amplified using crystal cylinders.
- Anne Chan: I wonder what it'd be like if we had a brother who spoke English.
- Alan Chan: He said you can listen by putting a glass against the wall.
- Susie Chan: But we all have better manners than that.
- [Suzie notices all her siblings have left the table and are each putting a glass against the wall to eavesdrop]
- Anne Chan: Look, I'll climb up the tree and you can throw me the rope.
- Tom Chan: Unnecessarily complex. I will merely encircle the nearest perpendicular limb.
- [Tom tosses up the lasso rope, but it falls back down on him]
- Anne Chan: Now do I climb up?
- Alan Chan: I'll do it. Boys are better climbers.
- Anne Chan: Any questions?
- [Anne is already in the tree]
- Tom Chan: Here's the rope... Cheetah!
- [the rope is tossed up to Anne]
- [Except for Mimi and Scooter, the Chan children all get caught in each other's traps]
- Stanley Chan: [to Mimi and Scooter] Hey, don't just stand there! Do something!
- Henry Chan: Yeah, get us down!
- Flip Chan: Get us up!
- Alan Chan: Get us out!
- Stanley Chan: I'll get the door, Pop.
- [Stanley, disguised as a Frankenstein butler, answers the door]
- Stanley Chan: [with a spooky voice] Come in, won't you?
- Lord Buckley: Is your father at home, Stanley?
- Stanley Chan: [with his normal voice] Don't say it, Pop.
- Nancy Chan: Wait a minute. Where's Chu-Chu?
- Henry Chan: Oh, no. Not lost again.
- Charlie Chan: You like to be detectives? So think. Where would the dog go?
- [the Chan family hears a loud crash, then find Chu-Chu about to feast on some knocked-over dinosaur bones]
- Stanley Chan: Wham Bam, we're in a jam.
- Charlie Chan: Aiya! It appears our job at the museum isn't over.
