Still on my journey to review every episode in this show, slowly but surely. This is an episode that follows a plot trope: peer pressure. This episode is also very similar to the SpongeBob episode No Weenies Allowed. I'm not sure which is better though, they're both around the same level of quality.
This episode's main reason for getting a 10 is the plot. Brandy & Mr. Whiskers is one of those shows that can take overused plot tropes and make them fresh, to where it's not even an issue that the plot they used was originally unoriginal. This episode's plot is about Mr. Whiskers trying to get into a club with the help of Brandy and Ed. It's executed perfectly and it is so hilarious.
The moral of this episode is the standard "peer pressure is bad". I'll admit, they could've handled it better, but that doesn't make it bad (it's like 95%). But really, are any of you here for the moral? It's all about the comedy, obviously!
This episode also reintroduces The Vic, he's one of those characters that's a dirtbag who you can't help but find hilarious. The rest of the characters are funny too, Brandy and Whiskers even get some character development. She learns that peer pressure isn't a good thing and he learns to not be such a doormat and more aware.
I don't know what else to say, I just love this episode so much, it's absolutely hilarious and puts a spin on the peer pressure plot. Everything is where it should be. 10/10!
