- Ari nearly explodes as not only E, but also obnoxious Bob insists on coming along as he tries to sell their Ramone biopic project to a studio. They meet with the head of the studio Bradley (Jack Coleman). Ari was supposed to lead the meeting, but Bob starts shooting his mouth off. The meeting goes badly & Brad turns it down. The studio was not looking for a biopic. Bob blames Ari for not having a plan & Ari blames Bob saying that he just didn't shut up in the meeting. E tells Bob to let Ari take the lead at the next meeting. Bob reluctantly agrees.
Ari tells Bob that the next meeting is at Disney & takes E to the next meeting, which was actually at Universal. E has to relent & goes with Ari for the meeting with Jacqueline (Kelley Hazen) (head of Universal studios). Universal loves the idea, but now Bob is angry & wont pick E's or Ari's phone. When they finally get Bob on the line, he tells Ari & E that after being humiliated at the Disney parking lot, Bob went to see his friend Alan at Warner. Alan hates Vince for ditching Aquaman 2. He buys the movie from Bob & basically shuts out Vince.
Drama can't unwind for his first day on set as Ed Burns makes his part more challenging. The sting of the problem proves the solution. First Drama was supposed to do a monologue (which was 2 pages long to begin with), but then increases the duration of the mono & then changes the scene from sitting to standing & moving. Drama freaks out & locks himself in his vanity van. as Eddie (the director) starts to get nervous, Drama takes Turtles advice & jacks off to calm himself down. He gives a wonderful take.
Meanwhile Turtle wants a pair of exclusive Fukijama sneakers (limited edition. Fukijama is the most famous graffiti artist in the world. Every year Nike commissions him to do a limited drop. 200 pairs this year. After that he destroys the pattern and the design never gets made again, ever), without standing in line early. Turtle takes Vince to the shop hoping to cut the line. Vince refuses to ask a celebrity favor & cut the line. He makes Turtle go to the back of the line. Soon, the shop is out of Fukijamas. Vince promises Turtle that he will get him a pair.
Another store in Santa Monica has a few pairs left. Turtle and Vince are on their way. Vince calls the store and talks to the sales guy.He agrees to attend the sales-guys sister's birthday party in exchange for him holding a pair of the Fukijama shoes for an hour. When they finally get there they find that the sales guy offered the last pair to another celebrity who offered to pay for the birthday party himself. Turtle is distraught. Vince makes a few calls & gets Fukijama to create a unique pair of shoes for $ 20,000, just for Turtle. Turtle is beyond happy.
Vince spend $20,000 on sneakers, but doesn't have a job.
