In this ironic retelling of the classical Orpheus myth, the scene is set in the 1930s among a second-rate troupe of travelling performers, waiting in a train station. Eurydike, the daughter of the troupe's leading actress, fall in love with Orfeus, a violinist at the station restaurant. As complications ensue, the understanding of romance and intense emotions are being deflated. TV adaptation of Anouilh's 1941 modernist play.
