- Wheeler: Hey, if you were trying to impress a babe, Ma-Ti, what would you get her for her birthday?
- Ma-Ti: [grinning] You speak of Linka, my friend?
- Wheeler: No. Yeah. Well, maybe you could tune into her mind and see what that brusky babe would like
- Gaia: [Gaia appears from behind, they turn to face her] To the Crystal Chamber, Planeteers. We have an eco-emergency.
- [disappears, Ma-Ti turns back to face the way they sail]
- Wheeler: [concentrating on moving the board to increase speed] C'mon, Ma-Ti. When the Spirit of Earth calls, we gotta boogie.
- [finally turns around...]
- Ma-Ti: Wheeler - be careful with the sail!
- [he then Wheeler fall off and underwater, then grab the surf and glance to shore]
- Linka: [laughs] Come, my wet-head comrades. We must hurry.
- Ma-Ti: [regains his hat] However you decide to impress Linka, that was not the way to do it.
- Wheeler: Yo, Ma-Ti - this going to Africa gives me an awesome idea for Linka's present.
- Ma-Ti: Worry about a job we must do, not about impressing babes.
- Wheeler: Who's worried? She'll be impressed. What chick wouldn't flip for an ivory necklace?
- Kwame: [overhearing] Are you *crazy*, Wheeler?
- Wheeler: Yeah, like a fox. Everyone knows Africa's the best place to get ivory real cheap.
- Kwame: Cheap? Are you kidding?
- [everyone yells as the Geocruiser suddenly plunges]
- Gi: Hang on. I'm taking us down. I've just spotted two of Looten Plunder's henchmen attacking a herd of elephants.
- Kwame: Wheeler, you are about to find out how much ivory *really* costs.
- Argos Bleak: [his air-rover is engulfed with Belo's in the twister that is Captain Planet] Hey - where'd that tornado come from? What's going on?
- Captain Planet: Just simple ecology.
- Captain Planet: I'd love to stay and shoot the breeze, gang, but I've got to take these elephants to safety and then return to the earth.
- [engulfs the elephants in his wind form]
- Wheeler: But what if we need you again?
- Captain Planet: [of their rings] Just give me a ring; I'll be ready.
- Wheeler: [Kwame creates a divide in the land to sink the Snatcher vehicle] That'd sure be handy in New York traffic.
- Belo: I will take the little elephant with me.
- Kwame: Why, my brother? Why must you kill the elephants? Why can't you leave them be?
- Belo: My people are poor. I need Looten Plunder's money, or my family will perish.
- [sticks Sneezer with a cattle-prod]
- Linka: But soon there will be no elephants left! What then?
- Belo: [flustered] ... I do not know!
- Kwame: We can teach you, my brother. Show you other ways to survive!
- Belo: I have already wasted too much time in foolish talk! Move, elephant!
- Kwame: No! I will not let you! You cannot take Sneezer!
- [runs forth]
- Gi: Kwame, no! We've given our powers to Captain Planet!
- Belo: [jabs him in the chest with the prod, sending him sprawling back] Save your pretty words! I have no choice.
- [heads off]
- Kwame: Belo, my brother, there *is* a choice! Listen to your heart!
- Belo: [Sneezer holds him back from stepping into a trap] You - you've saved my life! It is not a life I have been proud of, little friend. Perhaps it is time I change it.
- [last lines]
- Wheeler: Gosh, Linka, we've been so busy I didn't get a chance to buy you something for your birthday. Sorry, babe.
- Linka: Seeing Sneezer and her mother back together is the best present I could get.
- Wheeler: In America, when you get a present, you have to give back kisses.
- Linka: In Soviet Union, when boys give you fast moves, you give back fast "nyet".
- Kwame: [laughs] Well, Wheeler, as you Americans say, you can kiss that idea goodbye!
- [everyone else laughs, after a moment so does he]
