Sex & Nudity

  • Very naturalistic, being a documentary about wild animals. During the mating scene between the Paraceratherium, you can clearly see the giant penis of the male hanging out. The act itself is also quite rough, as it is to be expected from such gigantic creatures.

Violence & Gore

  • Documentary program-styled violence. Many animals fight and inflict serious, bloody wounds on each other. A predator also kills a herbivore in a brutal fashion, but no blood is seen.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One scene includes the gradual buildup of an army of ants where they feed on a newly hatched Gastornis while it screams with suspenseful music that would scare young viewers.
  • Some animals might scare smaller viewers. The Entelodonts, giant pig-like creatures, generally act very violently towards each other and other animals. They were also designed to look extremely frightening with their huge mouths, big teeth, and general ugliness. They also roar in a scary manner.
  • After a flood, a mother animal is shown finding her dead cubs, which may unsettle some viewers.
