A two-act picture play showing how, in the development of the story, a man sacrifices his future and happiness for the sake of a woman whom he loves, realizing that she loves another. The acting of all concerned in the cast is up to the standard mark. The story holds close attention and strengthens as it proceeds, in both suspense and sympathetic quality. A wholesome story that is visually well told. - The Moving Picture World, November 28, 1914
