- At the beach there's just men and in swimming trunks and women in bikinis.
- Vic has an outfit which reveals an unbutton shirt, reveal bare chest.
- You can build a prostitution racket, when you enter there's a young woman pole dancing.
- Your player can pick up a prostitute and when he does, moaning/sexual dialogue from the player/girl is heard as well as the car rocking back and forth. No animations between them are actually used.

- You can snap a person's neck or punch them several times while they're on the ground in this game's melee combat system.
- You can burn people alive with a flamethrower and molotov cocktails. They scream until they die and their charred corpse is shown afterwards.
- Like nearly all of the 3D era games in the series before it, there's a chainsaw in this game. You can slice into people while they're lying on the ground and quite a lot of blood is shown flying.
- Players have the ability to beat up and murder pedestrians and others.
- You can blow people's heads off with guns, beat them to death, run them over or kill them with various different weapons.
- You can draw more blood by beating the dead body of a person.
- The blood in the game is light pink.
- It is said during the game that Martinez raped Louise.
- You shoot a lot of people, quite bloody at times.
- In one you have to kill zombies, but it's just for a movie.
- Cars, boats, helicopters and motorbikes explode when you shoot them.
- A building explodes.
- In one mission you have to drive a man to his shop, but he'll have a heart attack if you drive to fast. But there's Cholos men around in their cars. If they see you they'll chase after you (cause they know about the man with the heart attack.)

- A mission involves the player getting knocked unconscious and falling out of the back of a van filled with cocaine. When you wake up, the screen will become distorted and gameplay will be slightly slower.
- Jerry Martinez is seen snorting cocaine, later him and Phil Cassidy are seen smoking Marijuana.
- A cholo is seen snorting cocaine.
- The entire storyline of the game is about drug dealing.
- It is implied that Lance and Louise are cocaine addicts.
- Phil Cassidy is drunk or seen drinking alcohol during the game.
- Vic and Lance's mum is sometimes drunk.
- You can own a smuggling racket.
