I just saw this film at a festival at Universal Studios (Moondance) and I really really loved it. It is creative, visually interesting storytelling at it's best, as well as being wonderfully directed, and thematically relevant without being pretentious. I've been to endless strings of short film festivals, and this is my favorite short to date. It left me with such a warm feeling, and yes, I teared up. Mostly because it reminded me of the beauty of accepting people for whatever they are, and seeing the beauty of that regardless of our own (or society's) conventions about what they should or should not be. Unconditional acceptance and love. What a beautiful concept. It feels great to open up to that. Not just to receive, but to give as well. Bravo to the whole team. (I'm a Production Designer and I was very impressed with the art department as well. I particularly loved the flashback sequences. It was designed with intent, and everything seemed to be well thought out and carefully chosen.) Wish you were here to talk about the making! Congratulations on a beautiful piece of work.
