The kitty that (somewhat) missed the mark

Warning: Spoilers
As you may know, this is my favorite show and I find it near perfect in terms of its comedy, animation, and writing. However, this episode is a very weak episode of "Brandy & Mr. Whiskers". The characters are flanderized beyond all means, the writing is flawed, and characters get torment for zero reason.

This episode gets strange at points to say the least. The only likable character is Brandy because she's the only one who did nothing hurtful, yet she's the one who gets the short end of the stick. It demonstrates its moral about childhood toys and bullying in a very flawed way that it reminds me of "Arthur's Big Hit" in a way.

Margo and Gabriella in this episode are total dipwads to Brandy for zero reason. Gabriella's jealous of her and wants revenge for "Pedigree, Schmedigree" and Margo is a selfish b-word who only cares about herself. In this episode, the two of them (and later Brandy's FRIENDS, Lola, Cheryl, and Meryl) start to laugh at her due to Whiskers constantly coming up to Brandy talking to her about her toy, which she deservingly tells him off later in the episode, which causes him to thankfully stop. I don't really have an issue with him giving IBK to Gaspar as he thought she wouldn't care. What I don't like is how constant this treatment is. If Brandy were to do something rude to everyone in this episode, the torment wouldn't be forced. However, she did nothing, especially this late into the series where Brandy became a changed person and got development in almost every episode.

However, there are still a lot of enjoyable elements in this episode. The fact that the characters (everyone except Gabriella) tell Brandy sorry puts this one miles ahead of something such as a season 7 Squidward torture episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants". This episode's also got some pretty funny jokes such as in the beginning where, supposedly, Whiskers proclaimed himself as "King of Nostrilania" and the voice gag in the end with Colonel Itty Bitty Ferguson.

Overall, this episode needs improvements, but it's still an alright episode that's from an amazing series. It's fine, but nothing special. 7/10.
