Several stunning dresses from Princess Diana's enviable high-fashion wardrobe are on display this week at her former home, Kensington Palace. Fashion Rules: Restyled, which highlights royal fashion through the decades, also features memorable pieces from the collections of Queen Elizabeth and the late Princess Margaret. The new collection will open Feb. 11 in the public rooms of Kensington Palace, which is home to Prince William, wife Kate and Prince Harry. Diana lived there until her death in 1997. The exhibit features dresses worn by the late princess, including a few pieces from some of her favorite designers - Bruce Oldfield and Catherine Walker.

When you're the Queen of England, you're not just dressing for yourself. You're dressing for an entire country. Fashion lovers, brace yourselves, because in this final part to the four-video, behind-the-scenes series around One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn's new show The Royals, for the first-time ever you'll get the chance to go on an exclusive tour of the cast wardrobes. That's right—from Jimmy Choo shoes to vintage Christian Dior ties, one thing is for certain—this fictional modern-day British monarchy certainly knows how to dress the part. And now we want to dress like them too. "I'm very lucky that Dolce & Gabbana dressed Queen Helena in quite a few of...

Welcome back to Cannes Check, In Contention's annual preview of the films in Competition at next month's Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off on May 14. Taking on different selections every day, we'll be examining what they're about, who's involved and what their chances are of snagging an award from Jane Campion's jury. Next up: the second of four French entries: Bertrand Bonello's "Saint Laurent." The director: Bertrand Bonello (French, 45 years old). Born in Nice and now based in Paris and Montreal, Bonello began his career as a classical musician -- a background that makes sense, given the stately refinement and sensory elevation of his filmmaking. (He still serves as his own composer.) Which is not to say his work is soft, testing as it does formal and erotic boundaries: scholars of contemporary French cinema tend to group him with the likes of Gaspar Noé in the bracket of New French Extremism.

Everyone loves a bad boy. The snarling mustache twirlers get all of the fame and fortune -- the No. 1 spot on movie-geek lists, the Halloween costumes, the cool quotes -- and none of them have to worry about being called a witch.
But here at NextMovie, we're all about the bad girls. We love a lady who isn't afraid to embrace her nasty side in order to get what she wants.
In honor of "Savages" and Salma Hayek's role as a brutal drug cartel leader, we've gathered up the coolest and cruelest women to grace the silver screen. We're a little worried about ranking them, because if there's one thing we know about these vicious villainesses, it's that they don't like competition. But we did. Now, you read. We'll run.
15. Rebecca Romijn as Mystique in the 'X-Men' Movies (2000-06)
Mystique's level of menace shifts with every new "X-Men" installment.

Let’s hope that Snow White & The Huntsman is the final revival of Snow White for awhile. Fans of ABC’s Once Upon a Time have had their fill each week, Mirror, Mirror was an abomination, and readers of the Vertigo comic, Fables would agree that it remains as the best contemporary take on re-imagining fairy tales. But there was still plenty to like about this latest Hollywood endeavor, directed by Rupert Sanders, who makes his feature debut after building his reputation shooting commercials.
The story at its apple core is familiar. Evil Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron, Prometheus) tricks a widower King Magnus (Noah Huntley) into thinking she was a prisoner of a phantom army. She casts her spell but she doesn’t need to. Watch that Christian Dior “J’Adore” commercial and tell me none of you would have been crippled by Theron’s beauty.

Early evidence suggests the sumptuous Snow White and the Huntsman will at least look better than its Julia Roberts-fronted rival
Film-makers who begin their careers in commercial advertising do not always emerge as dead-eyed journeymen when they arrive in Hollywood. Ridley Scott conjured up Blade Runner and Alien from the ashes of some much-loved 1970s ads for Hovis bread, and I'm something of an apologist for Zack Snyder, at least when he's in Watchmen mode and not hawking spectacularly ill-advised video game porn in the vein of last year's Sucker Punch.
Rupert Sanders is the latest director to emerge from ad-land, and I can't help feeling that the British film-maker's forthcoming take on Snow White has retained a whiff of festive perfume commercial that you might think was a hangover from his old job. Perhaps it's the presence of Charlize Theron as the evil Queen Ravenna, or, more likely,...

Welcome to the return of our weekly Gossip Girl fashion breakdown, where we tell you how to get the looks (and cheaper alternatives) worn by your favorite characters, and even Chivy for that matter!
Last week, on "All the Pretty Sources," our Upper East Siders put all their social climbing issues, their can't-hold-a-job consistency, and their love quads aside to unite for Blair's bridal shower.
With its concept and true-to-character theme, the Breakfast at Tiffany's ode to B's Audrey obsession was a fantastic fete. With the Princess-to-b in her bold tangerine Dior number and a coral Alberta Ferretti frock, she was the star of this installment of Gossip Girl, and fittingly so as the guest of honor.
The rest of our female ensemble - Serena, Lily, Chivy, and Diana - were all muted in their attire in hues of beige, pink, nude, and gold, the sure-thing colors of a Sunday shower palette.

Eva Green rose to fame as the Bond girl who won the heart of 007 in Casino Royale. Now she's back in more familiar territory as the elemental, mysterious Morgan in Camelot, she tells Elizabeth Day – dabbling in witchcraft and reinventing nudity
It is a sunny, blue-sky day when I meet the actress Eva Green. The London streets are peppered with cherry blossom and the heady scent of fake tan hangs thickly above the city like ozone. It is a day for white linen and flowing dresses and flip-flops. But when Green arrives, it is clear that she is not embracing the joys of spring time. Her tiny frame is swathed in black and dark grey and she is wearing a heavy coat over a lace blouse, jeans and boots. The pale flawlessness of her face is accentuated by jet-black hair and smudged eye-shadow the colour of coal dust. The overall...
