Warning: Spoilers
Not a bad episode but not a particularly funny or interesting one . Lucy has to put a band together when Ricky refuses. It's for a fundraiser for the historical society.

The best part is Lucy , Ethel, Fred and little Ricky trying to rehearse. None but little Ricky is very good . Even Fred the dog runs out of the room.

The worst part a scene that goes on forever and each member of the little band vents to Ricky and wants him to see if he can help them improve.

He realizes quickly they are a lost cause. He does however use them in a way even they can't fail. He ends up bringing some members of his band too for a Calypso number. It's kind of amusing. The number plays into the plot.

I Don't Love Lazy

Warning: Spoilers
As much as I absolutely love this show, I must admit I thought this episode was one of the most laziest episodes. It simply reused a storyline from an earlier season, except for the insert of showcasing Little Ricky and drum playing. Continuity wasn't considered because since when Ethel not play the piano well? And, of course, a fuddled rendition of "Sweet Sue" by a band is easily cleaned up by Ricky singing a completely different song and just having the three others booming, zipping, and clicking on some very basic elementary-level instruments. No matter how much I simply adore the show as a whole, each time I come across this particular episode, I can't help but feel like the intelligence as the audience is thoroughly insulted.
