I love watching the show hair trauma because in many ways I can relate to the show because I am a beautician in Columbus, Ohio and its not often you get to see a reality TV show like this with a black person as the owner of such a successful salon. That is one of my dreams that I would like to one day obtain. It is also nice to see other techniques and styles being done. I love to learn because I love hair so it is very enjoyable for me to watch the show. I do wish I could see a little more interaction with the clients and some of the work being done so that I can learn some things while watching the show. But I just wanted to say I love the show and I love watching the Lavar family.

"Hair Trauma" is WE TV's latest edition to real reality TV. "Hair Trauma" details the everyday going-ons of famed NYC black hairstylist Ellin LaVar. For those who don't know miss LaVar, Ellin has done some of the most fabulous hair around, and has such star clients such as Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Naomi Campbell, Whitney Houston, and has done styles that have been featured in Essence magazine, Ebony, and countless others. "Hair Trauma" also features her co-workers/siblings, Jeffrey LaVar and Kim LaVar. This show is super-interesting with high-end black hair styles, from $1000 Italian hair extensions to stylish braids, "Hair Trauma" brings freshness and laughter to the all too-played genre of reality TV.
