" . . . for me, it was the end of Bond," states seven-film Eon Company production designer for the James Bond franchise, Ken Adam, in this bittersweet coda to his career building the sets for Double Oh Seven to demolish. (Though MOONRAKER was Eon's eleventh Bond, Mr. Adam had "scheduling conflicts" which prevented him from working on four of the earlier films in this series.) This "Making Of"-style documentary short has 16 of the MOONRAKER crew and cast identified on-screen as themselves, including producer Albert R. Broccoli, director Lewis Gilbert, screenwriter Christopher Wood, MOONRAKER star Roger Moore (Eon's third James Bond), co-star Lois Chiles ("Honey Goodhead"), plus many of MOONRAKER's stunt performers. Viewers are taken behind-the-scenes to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Canada, and France. Gilbert states "I always expected to find naked savages" in Brazil, sounding disappointed that he apparently did not. As they say, different strokes for different folks.
