Does anyone really know how many movies have been done, using these characters created by Swedish crime writers Sjöwall/Wahlöö? These authors used to be very much to the political left. But times change. I would say they have sold out. Completely.
But never mind, "Beck-Skarpt Läge" is one of the better ones in this endless line of movies, using the policemen Beck and Larsson. They this time deal with wife abusers and obviously, the plot becomes more effective, when it is about so called everyday crime.
Rather exciting, even if you too soon get to know who the murderer is. Peter Haber and Mikael Persbrandt are not that tired in their acting performance. This is not for an international audience, but it's functioning in it's Swedish environment.
