- Roger T. 'Race' Bannon: [whistles] I wouldn't expect to see two plane like THAT up here.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: Mementos of the past. I fly them very little anymore.
- Dr. Benton C. Quest: You've kept them in fine shape, Baron.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: How else would a man treat his memories, Dr. Quest?
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: Looks like we're about to have company, Julio. Unexpected... and uninvited.
- Jonny Quest: It takes Bandit a little while to get used to strangers.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: Bandit and I have something in common.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: You know, uh, you were lucky to sight my landing strip. There isn't another between here and La Paz.
- Roger T. 'Race' Bannon: Well, we were lucky to get our ship down on that short runway, considering the altitude and your crosswinds.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: Oh, you are... you are far too modest, Mr. Bannon. I haven't seen flying like that since my old squadron was... ha... disbanded.
- Hadji: [noting a stuffed condor] Bandit has discovered that big bird up there. I think he is afraid of it.
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: He should be. The mountain ledges above this castle are one of the last few homes of the giant condor.
- Jonny Quest: Aren't they sort of a giant vulture?
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: That's right. Sometimes they drop in unexpectedly to pick up one of my sheep.
- Hadji: Your sheep?
- Baron Heinrich Von Freulich: Of course, they usually feed on carrion, dead bodies, but sometimes they will go for small live animals. I, uh... I never let Willie out of my sight. They are the kings of the Andean skies - strong, fearless and free. I envy them.
- Jonny Quest: Dad! Dad! The Baron's gonna shoot Race down in an aerial dogfight.
- Dr. Benton C. Quest: An aerial dogfight? So THAT'S it. But with Race, the baron may have his hands full.
- Julio: Possibly, except the baron's guns are loaded; Mr. Bannon's are not.
- Dr. Benton C. Quest: Of course! The Condor Squadron! I KNEW the name Baron von Freulich sounded familiar. Back in 1918 he was his country's top ace, with eighty-four kills to his credit. They say that when the war ended he flew into a rage. He wanted to raise his score to an even hundred. Looks like he's never gotten over his disappointment. The sooner we get out of here tomorrow the better.
- Dr. Benton C. Quest: [Race makes an emergency landing] You handled that beautifully, Race.
- Roger T. 'Race' Bannon: Thanks, Doctor, for a minute I wasn't sure we were going to make it.
- Jonny Quest: I was so scared, I forgot I was airsick.
