- In a hidden scene, we see two topless women, their breasts are exposed and the camera lingers at them for sometime. A man approaches them and the camera pawns away as an interaction scene starts, we hear lots of moaning as the camera lingers at a naked statue (water fountain coming out of the statues penis) the water starts to shake and rampages as they reach orgasm.
- A CGI scene shows a fully naked woman, she turns around and we see her buttocks and part of her breast.
- A woman is wearing an outfit that makes one of her breasts hangout of it, when she turns around parts of her bare buttocks are seen, she's seen several times throughout the game.
- An enemy in the game is a very large female-creature, she has several breasts attached to her torso, we see them in great detail, when the player's stands in front of her we see her very large breasts supported by the floor.
- Several enemies in the game are topless female-beasts, we see their breasts from a distance sometimes, other times in a closeup.
- The protagonist wears a costume that reveals his thighs/torso throughout the game.
Violence & Gore

- Non-stop very violent deaths all accompanied by lots and lots of blood and gore, several people/beasts are impaled, slashed or struck by mêlée/magic. We see them lose their limbs/heads in several fights, sometimes they're cut horizontally by the swords or their heads are cut by red-hot iron wires. Several beasts' eyes are gouged out by the player. People/Beasts are stabbed in the limbs, torso and/or the face in several CGIs/Game-time fights a woman's face turns into a bloody pulp after being impaled in the face.
- Several CGIs show many many people/beasts being injured/killed/tortured, a man has his torso eaten out by a bird, we see this in great detail; his torso is re-created so he can be eaten again. A man burns in graphic detail, a man is impaled by another man in several scenes, we see the blood gushing out and we see a large opening in the torso were the blade was driven.
- A brief battle scene shows several men's limbs being cut off with swords, a man's head explodes as he's struck by an arrow, another man's head is bashed into a rock where we see blood exploding from his face, a man's throat is sliced blood gushes out, in the same scene a man's head is cut, we see the head rising in the air where blood is still gushing in a large amount out of his neck. Limbs/backs are broken in several fights with loud crunching noises and sometimes blood.
- Several mechanical deaths as characters are stumbled/crunched to death in several traps, few traps are designed to burn the enemies.
- Several scene like the above, very hard to describe them all yet most of what you should see coming is there. The game is VERY violent and wears it's violent/disturbing content with pride in several reviews/features. Almost every possible violent death is there.
Profanity

- The ESRB rating is erroneous. There is absolutely no language in this game, at all. Not a single foul word. Kratos threatens his enemies with fury.
- (However in bonus cutscenes the producers speak strong language occasionally.)

- In the previous game, Kratos attempts suicide. This is still mentioned in God of War II.
- The violent content is VERY VERY intense and disturbing.
- The rock-monster catches the player off-guard and Boo-scares him/her in a couple of scenes.
- Overall rating: game aimed for adult gamers for very strong violence and gore, high sexual content.

Violence & Gore
- In one scene, Kratos faces off the Kraken. The battle shows Kratos cut some of the Kraken's tentacles, resulting in copious amounts of blood gushing out before Kratos activates the bridge mechanism that results in the Kraken being impaled in the mouth with tremendous spurts of blood coming out as the Kraken dies and Kratos watches on. This scene is extremely graphic.

- Athena's death might be sad for some viewers.
