Clever and very funny

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this film at the Palm Springs Short Film Festival and loved it! The entire film is shot from the point of view of the casket, with relatives coming and going, giving their last respects to Richie. Of course, Richie isn't dead at all, and the whole funeral viewing is a big insurance fraud.

Alison Steadman is excellent as the wife who is more concerned with making sure everyone does what they're supposed to than with grieving. The funeral director is very funny too. But best of all is the simplicity of the idea: no special effects, no cutting. Just great acting and a clever story make this one of the best shorts I saw at the festival. If you get a chance to see it, don't miss it!
