Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaBob Dorough initially sang the demo version of the song, but when Blossom Dearie was brought on to sing, the camper character was made female, and Dorough ended up doing the voice of the turtle for one line ("Whoa! Boy, that was one big ugly bear!")
- GoofsNear the end of the song, the girl and her pet turtle pack up the tent right before the tethers uproot themselves. In reality, the tethers need to be uprooted first before packing up tents.
- Quotes
[a tall girl and a small boy are shown standing next to each other, unequal in height]
Singer: [singing] Girls who are tall can get taller,
[the girl grows taller until her head reaches the ceiling. She looks down smiling at the boy. The boy looks up at the girl and starts giggling]
Singer: [singing] Boys who are small can get smaller,
[the boy who is still laughing shrinks, looks up, and points at the girl. The girl frowns and then starts growing again. She grows right through the ceiling until only her legs and sandals are seen]
Singer: [singing] Till one is the tallest,
[the boy who is still laughing, looks up at the girls legs, and shrinks to a speck. The girl lifts her foot over the boy]
Singer: [singing] Another's the smallest of all.
[the boy stops laughing and looks up at the bottom of the girl's sandal in fear. The girl stomps on the boy causing the room to shake]

It's my favorite one out of them all. Something about this voice is so relaxing. I don't know why, but, I find relaxed listening to this. It's such a catchy tune. The voice is perfect. The lyrics are perfect. LOL!
My next favorite one is Interjections. A very catchy tune.
It's a shame you don't see stuff like this these days. Most of this entire series was very cleverly written and sung...
Did they ever help me remember anything? Probably not... but, they were catchy tunes! LOL!
For the America ones... I do like I'm just a bill, and my favorite America one is No More Kings.
The female vocals in these are superb!
What a nice trip down nostalgia lane. A shame these wonderful pieces of our history will fade into the background...
