Sex & Nudity

  • No sex scenes and no full male or female nudity. There are few cheeky, mild references to sexual attraction. Quite a lot of the female characters wear skimpy outfits and have unrealistically large breasts, which is not much different from a lot of other games. This game does give you the option to put your characters in a bath together - you get male, female and unisex baths, but you only see the characters submerged in water up to just above their breasts. No nipples.

Violence & Gore

  • This game is set during a war, and so contains a lot of medieval style combat with swords, bows and arrows and axes. There are no bloody effects or gore in spite of the amount of fighting and damage inflicted by weapons. There is one scene with a close up of a character being stabbed, but the blood has been censored to just looking like white gleaming reflections pouring from a wound. A lot of the violence in this game is also caused by magical powers.

Profanity

  • The rudest words used in this game are "damn", "bastard", "bitch" and "crap". They are used quite sparingly, although there is also quite a lot of sarcastic, dark humor and threats used throughout the dialogue in this game.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is an alcoholic character in this game who does not play a major part to the story (except in helping to uncover a conspiracy) he always appears holding a bottle of liquor. There are many taverns in the game that you visit, but no options to get drunk. There are strong references to drugs in this game, but they are fictional drugs that do not exist in the real world. The drugs are used by villains to either weaken their enemies so they can cheat their way to victory, or there is a lethal drug that the villains use which put them into a berserk rage so they become more challenging to fight, and the villains die after the drugs wear off. The character soften refer to how wrong and bad it is to use such horrific drugs to succeed at such measures.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are many intense scenes which include arguments and emotional conflicts between friends and enemies, and also people who were formally friends. The game contains a strong theme of trust and betrayal. There are many tragic moments in the game's storyline, including a flashback sequence of the hero's parents dying, and his young sister being forced to marry an older man. There are no references to child abuse - the young princess is used for her royal status rather than her innocence, and the character who forces her to marry him is in love with her aunt, who has sworn to never marry and have children for political reasons. There are many political intrigues that may be confusing for young players. There are scenes of towns being burned, but these scenes aren't heavily detailed.
