This is the shortest of the three documentaries on the DVD of Brokeback Mountain, found on the DVD of it, obviously going into it, and it's the only one that has its own individual page here on the site. It consists of interviews with cast and crew, clips of the film and behind the scenes(and archival, for some) footage. The actors in this(who went to the so-called Cowboy Camp, for a crash course on what they had to be able to do) are Heath, Jake and Anna, since they are the ones shown to be doing the stuff that people in this environment had to be able to do in the time it's set. They are joined by Ang and the stunt people, and everyone has something to say. Yup, our leads were doubled for certain sequences, including, of course, the rodeo scenes with real bulls(yes, most of the animal stuff in the movie is actually genuine), since it would have been dangerous for someone without extensive experience to be doing that. The horse stuff that Hathaway did was also not all herself, again, a skill issue. They did deal with the sheep themselves. This doesn't spoil the picture. The pacing is fine, the 6 minutes pass pretty quickly. I recommend this to those who want the low-down on this aspect of the flick. 6/10
