A joint project between CID and uniform sees them trying to convict a child abductor, a woman who protests her innocence.
It's one of those very near the knuckles episodes, it is very good, but it does make you feel very uncomfortable, and the annoyance felt by the father, played by Mark Addy, is very much felt by the viewer.
It's not one I'd like to sit through again in a hurry, as it did unnerve me, it's good though.
Anne Carroll is great here as Janet Boxer, she manages to get ride under your skin, the character very much manages to strike a nerve with the viewer, and produce feelings of utter revulsion.
8/10.
