Buxom beauty Kitten Natividad is known to movie buffs as the last of Russ Meyer’s busty starlets, having starred in the cult director’s final two films. Kitten’s untamed beauty, personal charm, sex appeal , and cartoonish 44-25-35 dimensions has left her image imprinted on the mind of many a young man who saw her in the Meyer films or her cameos in such mainstream fare as My Tutor (1983) and The Wild Life (1984). Kitten was also Meyer’s girlfriend the last fifteen years of his life and she appeared as a stripper at the bachelor party held by Sean Penn to celebrate his 1985 marriage to Madonna.
Francesca Natividad was born in 1948 in Juarez, Mexico, one of nine children. Her family moved to El Paso, Texas, when Kitten was 10 after her mom married a man from there. In 1969 she began stripping and got her first breast implants in Mexico...

Modern exploitation films need to do two things simultaneously to work in today’s film culture: capture the feel of the genre while keeping the tongue tucked firmly in the cheek. Black Dynamite succeeded, and so did Bitch Slap. They took the elements from the genre that worked and updated them for today’s tastes. Sugar Boxx presents itself as another entry in this typically low-budget tradition, and it certainly manages to throw in some sex and violence. In fact, when it comes to reproducing the structural authenticity of the films – having poor writing, cinematography, and acting – Sugar Boxx hits the nail on the head. Unfortunately, it never offers enough violence or sex, as per the suggested serving size typical of the genre, and thus the ridiculously low standards in the main tenets of filmmaking have nothing to redeem them.

Contrary to popular belief, one of my biggest guilty pleasures in the entire cinematic world is the “women in prison” genre. I’ve watched more than I care to openly admit, and while I’m usually not a big fan of softcore exploitation flicks, for some bizarre reason I can’t seem to get enough of these embarrassingly enjoyable endeavors. So is it any surprise that Cody Jarrett’s upcoming action flick “Sugar Boxx” has popped up on my radar? Probably not. At any rate, the film appears to have adequately captured the look and feel of this shameless little genre, and for that I have to give its director some major kudos. To be fair, as long as there are a few scantily-clad fight scenes, I’ll be in seventh heaven. How sad. Want a plot synopsis? Here you go: Sexy reporter Valerie March (Geneviere Anderson) goes undercover inside...

Junk Food Dinner was very saddened to hear about the passing of legendary cult film actress Tura Satana on February 4th, 2011.
The 6'3" beauty born Tura Luna Pascual Yamaguchi in Hokkaidō, Japan began her entertainment career first as a blues singer, then gained notoriety as a model and then eventually as a burlesque dancer.
Tura's first acting role came playing Suzette Wong in the 1963 Billy Wilder-directed comedy Irma la Douce alongside Jack Lemmon and Shirley McLaine.
However, it was her next role as the tough-as-nails Varla in Russ Meyer's 1965 exploitation classic Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! that would cement her legacy as a cult legend. With her "take-no-prisoners" attitude, exotic beauty and plunging neckline, Tura quickly became the object of desire for many cult movies fans for generations to come. Tura was also responsible for adding key elements to the visual style and energy of the film, including her costume,...
