The "Boat/Dock Scene" that was during the day setting was improvised because the crew had lost the use of the boat that morning. The cast had 20 minutes prior to shooting to rehearse the scene.
Most of the budget went to production design and art direction so some areas of the production were cut, including a boom operator and mixer. Most of the scenes were recorded without sound. The actors were brought back into the studio to dub or ADR their lines.
Production lasted for 3.5 days. Three days in Michigan and a half day in Chicago. Thirty persons, including cast and crew, were transported to Saugatuck where they lodged in two houses supplied for free by kind locals.
Heather L. Tyler's debut.
