Suits was faced this week with topping last Thursday's epic flashback episode.
Did it succeed? I'd say so, even with the rather large "Asterisk" of a plot point that likely left many fans in tears by the hour's end.
As much as I'd like to dive right into the excitement that was Louis' promotion to senior partner, it's important to acknowledge and celebrate the angel we lost tonight in Edith Ross.
She was the rock in Mike's life, the one person left to raise him, and Mike loved her dearly. The show will be so much different with her gone. So will Mike.
It's interesting to note how strikingly similar this loss was to Harvey's loss of his father. Harvey hadn't spoken to him in a long time, and the most important woman in his life, Donna, delivered the news as gently as possible, much like Rachel did for Mike.

After seven years and 93 episodes, the firefighter doors of the fantastic television show, Rescue Me, have fittingly closed - mere days before the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
It was a drama that focused on aftermath of such a tragic event and the ways in which its characters struggled to overcome obstacles and simply live out some form of a normalcy. Love, sex, life, and death were key themes that surrounded the crew of Truck 62, and, even at the end, "Ashes" managed to uphold the show's particular style and pace in effortlessly blending drama and comedy.
The episode's introductory tease/fake out sequence continued the somber and mournful attitude that last week's "Vows" ended on. Even though it was only a dream, there was still an emotional moment in watching those flag laden coffins moved down the church's center aisle.
Lou's heartfelt speech about bravery and heroism made the moment that much...

Finding two actors with the magic of perfect chemistry is hard. And finding three? Near impossible. But in the underrated, unfortunately titled banter-fest that is Cougar Town, ABC has exactly that. The rapport among Courteney Cox, Christa Miller and Busy Philipps can’t be forced, faked or, yes, bottled. What makes their on-screen partnership work so well? The secret may lie in their easy off-screen camaraderie, evident even when the conversation is about career challenges and Emmy chances. It doesn’t really come from vino. We think. During this interview, they drank iced tea… (We’re pretty sure…)

Right now, Mark Ballas may be best known for his work on "Dancing with the Stars," but he's working to change all that with the release of something else quite dear to his heart - his new album, "HurtLoveBox."
Released on Tuesday, the album shows off the singing and guitar skills of the former mirrorball champ, as he frolics through a host of songs like the surfy sounds of "Hotwire," big emotive tunes like "Life Happens," and the Marc Anthony-esque radio pop of "Way You Werk."

"Taylor [Swift] was quite good in the movie and Taylor Lautner too," he told MTV News about the kiss in the movie, which is out on DVD and Blu-Ray this Tuesday. "Taylor Swift is quite competitive. I said, 'You know there's a prize for best kiss? ... So we might as well try for it.' And Taylor Lautner kind of hid at the craft-service place. He didn't want to get involved. Anyway, he went along with it. We did one in the movie, which was pretty good,...
