By far, most of the episodes in the series ended the credits in the same stage, the blue/white "jungle gym stage."
The contest prizes of this installment include a radio, six record albums, and $25. (To win, a person has a minute to call in when his/her name flashes across the screen.)
Musical numbers (from video): (1) Billy Joel's "Say Goodbye To Hollywood," (2) Donna Summer's "Last Dance" (footage from the 1978 film titled Thank God It's Friday, edited to cover over unrelated shots from the scene), and (3) Andy Gibb's "Love Is Thicker Than Water."
Elizabeth Mitchell initially had rather more to do in this, her first episode, but developed laryngitis shortly into it. She only appears in the Locker Jokes, with her remaining lines going to Christine.
Canned laughter is first heard. It became added to the show six months later.
