Roseanne was the self-proclaimed Queen of Halloween — and her titular sitcom made the spook-tacular holiday an annual tradition beginning with Season 2.
Each fall from 1989 to 1996, millions of viewers tuned in to see how the Conners would ring in All Hallow’s Eve, and were seldom disappointed with the result. Whether the occasion was marked by cool costumes, elaborate pranks or an inspired film homage, fans knew to expect something out of the ordinary.
With Roseanne now streaming on Amazon (and with anticipation building for ABC’s 2018 revival), we at TVLine have gone back and rewatched all eight Halloween specials, sorting them from worst to best.

Let the freakout begin!
Members of Ghost’s entourage start to squirm, exhibiting varying degrees of worry, when the Feds start hauling them in for questioning in this week’s Power. (Can you guess who’s the weakest link?)
Meanwhile, Ghost and his legal team nab a serious win, thanks to some shady/arrogant work on the part of the Assistant United States Attorney’s Office. But it might not matter all that much, given that a fellow inmate susses out James’ true identity based on a hunch and one phone call.

Joan Collins in 'The Bitch': Sex tale based on younger sister Jackie Collins' novel. Author Jackie Collins dead at 77: Surprisingly few film and TV adaptations of her bestselling novels Jackie Collins, best known for a series of bestsellers about the dysfunctional sex lives of the rich and famous and for being the younger sister of film and TV star Joan Collins, died of breast cancer on Sept. 19, '15, in Los Angeles. The London-born (Oct. 4, 1937) Collins was 77. Collins' tawdry, female-centered novels – much like those of Danielle Steel and Judith Krantz – were/are immensely popular. According to her website, they have sold more than 500 million copies in 40 countries. And if the increasingly tabloidy BBC is to be believed (nowadays, Wikipedia has become a key source, apparently), every single one of them – 32 in all – appeared on the New York Times' bestseller list. (Collins' own site claims that a mere 30 were included.) Sex...

Fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead — along with Andrea and Michonne — met the enigmatic figure known as “The Governor” this Sunday night. And with the character’s TV incarnation comes many questions. Like: Why is he different from the pages of Robert Kirkman’s comic book novels? What’s keeping the lights on the idyllic Woodbury he lords over? And what’s up with that creepy-ass man cave?
Kirkman and new cast member David Morrissey shed a bit of light on the dark stranger in a press conference call.

In a lot of ways, Season 3 of Warehouse 13 has been about Myka, her journey back to being an agent and in her redemption. "Past Imperfect" was more about the latter.
Myka has a lot of weight on her shoulders. One of the main reasons she decided to take the job as a Warehouse agent was because of Sam’s death. Because of Sam, Myka erected walls and closed off her emotions. She became cautious and analytical.
For Myka, closure regarding Sam allows her to truly begin healing and moving forward in her personal and professional lives.
Although I honestly don’t care when (if ever) Pete and Myka get together. I’m 99% sure we’ll get something before this season is over. There have been too many hints and callbacks. Both Pete and Myka have gotten closure on their past loves, they’ve helped each other emotionally and there...

"The Kensei", the long awaited fifth installment of Jon F. Merz's Lawson Vampire Series, about a hardboiled cynical elite spy/commando named Lawson who is also a member of a race of living vampires that have evolved in secret alongside humanity for millennia, recently hit the market; and coinciding with its release, the first four books in the series are now available on Kindle.
Since the older books, which were originally published in 2002 and 2003, have been out of print for a while, new cover art was in order. And gracing the artwork for "The Fixer", "The Invoker", "The Destructor", and "The Syndicate" is none other than Brandon Stumpf (interview here), an up-and-coming actor on the indie horror scene who's in a few projects we're keeping our eyes on, especially Kevin MacDonald's Beg.

William Wyler's propaganda-laden wartime drama abounds in the kind of defiant hominess Fellowes has down to a fine art
He is an Oscar-winning screenwriter for Gosford Park, a bestselling author with his novels Snobs and Past Imperfect, and now Julian Fellowes rules the small screen unchallenged thanks to his barnstormingly successful period costume drama Downton Abbey. This crackingly enjoyable TV show is the most successful of its sort since 1981's Brideshead Revisited and has been swiftly recommissioned, with the first series DVD edition poised to catapult off the shelves in time for Christmas. It perfectly demonstrates Fellowes's skills as a writer: he is clever, vigorous, prolific; he has a storyteller's gusto, a killer instinct for a narrative chicane and an uncool interest in the intricacies of the English caste and class system.
The only tiny speck of grit in the vaseline for Mr Fellowes must have been the complaints...

Ghosts were in the machine in last night's phenomenal episode of Caprica. The bar has been raised and the stage set for next week's season finale. Yep. Season finale. I am just as shocked as you are! But let's get into this apparently penultimate episode of science gone amok.
The Set Up
Joseph Adama still is traipsing through New Cap City with Emmanuelle still as his tour guide and gets a shock when Emmanuelle adds drug dealer to the list. She gives him a drug that will enhance his speed and agility in the real life version of a GTA game. When Joseph takes it (its like taking eyedrops), his reaction in the real world mirrors that of someone who just had their first hit of heroin or whatever. Too bad alcohol doesn't do that cause that is as far as I go when it comes to getting wasted. Oh,...
