A pretty good episode, some suspense and action.
It begins with a Angelique and Aristede in the woods. A reprise of the moment where he tells her Quentin has 30 minutes to live. She tries to hypnotize him but he has a medallion to protect him from witches.
We get a scene of Quentin on the table and the pendulum coming very close to his body.
Barnabas talks to Julianka, who goes to the woods for some herbs.
Barnabas tells Angelique he can handle Aristede. He confronts Aristede in the woods, hypnotizing him. He finally gets the information on where Quentin is and saves him just in time.
Julianka needs something else from the woods, Barnabas brings Quentin to the old house. When Julianka does not return Barnabas searches for her and finds her with a mark on her forehead and apparently dying.
Aristede taunts Quentin, Michael Stroka gives his villain a maniacal, evil laugh.
