Darious (a terrific and commanding portrayal by George Harris) pulls strings with Rudolpho (an amusing turn by Stephen Marcus) to have the crew of the Tulip transport Andrea Arquette (well played with touching grace by the lovely Ambre Boukebza), a famous and attractive artist who's suspected of murder. Percy (a winningly perky Tanya Allen) discovers that the Tulip is being trailed by a cloaked ship that might be over three million years old. Both the basic premise and the increasingly fraught relation between Dante (Michael Pare, sturdy as ever) and Lucretia (the excellent Claudette Roche) provide plenty of nerve-rattling tension, with the suspense hitting a harrowing fever pitch when a mysterious force enters the Tulip and causes all the power systems to fail. Moreover, Andrea Arquette makes for a very fetching, charming, and sympathetic character; one can't help but get caught up in this woman's peculiar plight concerning her connection to the Divinity Cluster. And the powerful cliffhanger ending is a real doozy.
