- A boy named Peter must save Easter. An evil character named Tin Whiskers takes over the town and re-names everything including the streets to have tin in the name. He has several animal friends who help him and Mother Nature even gives him help.—kristinaa
- Terrance the turtle has called the rest of his animal friends to see Uncle Amos the egg, who was going to tell them the story about Peter Paas. One day, when the animals were still animals, there were two farmers whose last name was Doppler. They were a poor couple who was in debt, until one night just a few days before Easter, they found a baby in the hen house. The baby had a note saying that his name was Peter Paas. The Dopplers decided to adopt him. Peter was no ordinary baby. He grew a year older every month until he was a 12-year-old on his first birthday. Peter grew up to be a happy, hardworking farmer, and he grew stronger whenever he heard laughter. Peter had a special bond with the animals, and he stated that animals can be like people if given clothes and names. He did so with the duck, rabbit, turtle and lamb and named them all Feathers, Cotton, Terrance and Lollichop respectively, and now, they are all able to talk like humans. Just then, Peter gets an unexpected visit from Tobias Tinwhiskers, the Doppler's debt-collector. He states that if that Doppler's don't make their annual payment by Easter, they will lose their farm. Peter asks the Doppler about Tinwhiskers. They tell him that he used to be a successful farmer named Tobias Toot, who made a lot of mechanical machines to help make his farming much easier, but he made so much money off of his machines that he started buying off other farms around the town even naming it after himself. In fact, he loved machines so much, he went through a procedure to become mechanical himself. Peter thought of a way to help the Dopplers raise the money, so he asks the animals to help, to which they all agree to. He tells them of a place he knows in a nearby forest where his mother, Mother Nature, resides. They go to that forest where Mother Nature gives him a contract to supply Easter Eggs for the Easter Bunny. The next day, the chickens produce thousands of eggs to which the other animals paint. The night before Easter, all the Easter Eggs were laid out in a pile overnight. The Easter Bunny stopped by and picked them up to deliver around the world leaving behind money for the farm. On Easter morning, the animals celebrated their victory by performing a concert for the farm. Tinwhiskers arrives right on time to receive his payment. Shocked that they had the money, Tinwhiskers makes the same threat for next year's payment, but then decides to challenge Peter to a plowing race to prove that he's a better farmer than Peter. Little did they know, Tinwhiskers chose to have the race where there was a deep well, which he conveniently covered. The next morning, Peter and Tinwhiskers had their race, but Peter fell right into Tinwhiskers' trap. The Dopplers fished Peter out of the well, but the fall caused Peter to go into a coma. He remains in that coma for almost an entire year. As the next Easter approaches, the animals go back into the forest to ask Mother Nature for help. Mother Nature gives them a golden egg and states that what hatches out of the egg will wake Peter. Feathers says the four of them should work together to try to hatch the egg. Lollichop agrees to do it for Peter, and Cotton and Terrance reluctantly agree. For the next few days, the animals take turns sitting on the egg. Then, one night, while Lollichop is sitting on the egg, she feels it start to kick and thinks this may be the day it hatches. Papa Doppler calls the animals out to get the eggs ready for the Easter Bunny. After they finish the job, Terrance takes over for Lollichop sitting on the egg. That night, Tinwhiskers sneaks into the house and steals the egg but gets caught by the Easter Bunny in the process. King Bossie wakes everyone up, and they all go outside and give chase. Tinwhiskers falls into a well dropping the egg out of his clutches. At that moment, the egg hatches, and what hatches out of the egg is a kooky, goofball bird who makes everyone laugh. Hearing the laughter, Peter woke up from his coma. The bird even made Tinwhiskers smile changing him back into Tobias Toot. Now with a change of heart, Tobias gives back all the farm land and renames the town Paasville. Tobias goes to work for the Dopplers, and Peter leaves the farm to go help other families in need bidding a fond farewell to the Dopplers and his animal friends.
