Sex & Nudity

  • No actual people, but there is a brief shot of an ancient illustration on a scroll depicting a woman bare to the waist, definitely not sexual, though.

Violence & Gore

  • A child is seen with his head covered in blood after being beaten repeatedly with a rock by an adult man.

Profanity

  • One use of the s-word. And the word "psycho" must be profane in Japan because it's bleeped out a few times.

  • There is a dead woman who is found hanging.

  • Multiple corpses of dead dogs are seen in a forest.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A ritual is described, (but not seen) that includes the sacrifice of baby monkeys which are eaten by a medium to summon a demon. The "updated" version of this ritual is described as using human fetus' from late-term abortions. It is speculated by a character that a young girl may have been forced to perform the medium's part of the ritual herself.
