Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A young girl turns out to be a crossdressing boy when, after urinating in a lake, he turns around and exposes his penis to Midori. The boy's naked butt is also shown in this scene.

Violence & Gore

  • The dwarf magician has a mental breakdown and enters a state of extreme rage after someone makes fun of his height. He then uses his powers to mutate, disembowel and burn his audience. The imagery is extremely gory and disgusting, showing lots of explicit body horror similar to David Cronenberg's "The Fly" and John Carpenter's "The Thing". Despite the scene's graphic nature, it at least shows us a subtle message about what could happen if you make fun of someone.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In the final moments of the film, Midori is trapped in a completely empty room with nobody there to protect her, showing that she will go through everything again. The only audio is her earsplitting screams of fear. Very disturbing and very devestating to many viewers.
