Dated, average and self-promoting documentary
A very average and self promoting documentary, but still, relatively accurate of a moment in Tijuana's history, but now it's just a dream long gone... nothing you see in the documentary is as it is now, so don't be fooled. It shows Tijuana in various aspects history, old society circles, new political government, climbing industry, nice tourism... ALL GONE TODAY... I like this documentary, but it's like watching the video of someone who is no longer living or someone who fell into the clutches of drug addiction... It's main purpose of this documentary is taken as if the City of Tijuana was in the midst of a boom of all the above mentioned aspects, and then some.. it may have served a purpose before, but it's no longer accurate... although it could be taken as an effort of a city going somewhere not long ago, the crime wave of drug killings have taken this somewhat up-beat doc into a very deep low... to be taken as a historic document of something that once was and how easy it is to mess it up.
