Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson reunite for the first time since Marley & Me for the slapstick rom-com She's Funny That Way.
In this hilarious behind-the-scenes look of a Broadway production, Wilson plays Arnold, a stage director who begins a relationship with an escort and aspiring actress Isabella (Imogen Poots), despite being married to the star of his show, Delta (Kathryn Hahn).
Video: 2015 Oscars Snubs and Surprises: Everything is Not Awesome for 'Lego Movie,' Aniston, 'Selma'
Due to a twist of comedic fate, Isabella gets a casting call for Arnold's play, without his knowledge. When she shows up, playwright Joshua (Will Forte) falls head over heels for her, even though he's dating therapist Jane Claremont (Aniston).
As it so happens, Isabella is also one of Jane's patients, and has no idea about her relationship with Joshua.

Poor Peter Bogdanovich. Well-respected, when was the last time he made a narrative feature that remotely moved the needle (let's not include the good doc, "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Runnin' Down a Dream")? "Cat's Meow" in 2001 that wasn't very good? And before that, "Mask" in 1985? The well-liked filmmaker, actor, cinephile has had a pretty rough go of it all and all in Hollywood (an unimpeachable beginning, a quick fall from grace), but perhaps his upcoming picture will be a late-era comeback? It certainly has no shortage of talent involved. Produced by Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach and formerly titled, "Squirrel to the Nuts," Jennifer Aniston has joined the retitled, "She's Funny That Way." Also new to the cast that already features an impressive foursome of Owen Wilson, Olivia Wilde, Brie Larson, and Jason Schwartzman are Bogdanovich's former muse Cybil Shepherd,...

According to reports, Peter Bogdanovich will direct and co-script with writing partner Parish Rahbar, an adaptation of author Kurt Andersen's 'scathingly funny' 1999 novel "Turn of the Century."
The Das Films feature will shoot in New York City.
Set in February 2000, "Turn Of The Century" follows 'George Mactier', who has parlayed a Newsweek magazine writing job into a PBS documentary, leading to a $16,575-a-week job as a producer at the sinister 'Mbc Network'.
Mactier's series, titled "Narcs" is a mix of fact and fiction in which actors get to participate in real drug busts, getting all the best lines because they are working from scripts. In one sequence, an arrested dealer, also turns out to be an Actors Equity member (thanks to a gig in the musical "Rent"), so he gets union scale for his 'appearance' in the series and a recurring role.
Meanwhile Mactier's wife 'Lizzie Zimbalist', a brilliant...

Das Films' Sriram Das will produce along with Melanie Shanley. Filming is scheduled for next spring in New York.
"Peter is one of the great minds of cinema," Das said. "His vision for this film and passion for the novel will bring an incredibly funny and powerful story to audiences around the world."

Sundance Channel has acquired Peter Bogdanovich's four-hour documentary Runnin' Down a Dream: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers along with 20 films that made their debuts at January's Sundance Film Festival.
Dream, which is set to have its world premiere Oct. 14 at the New York Film Festival, will debut on Sundance at 7 p.m. Oct. 29. It examines three decades in the history of the Grammy-winning rock band, featuring interviews as well as archival and concert footage. The docu also follows Petty's solo career and his time with the Traveling Wilburys.
"This deeply rich portrait of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers by film legend Peter Bogdanovich is a perfect fit for Sundance Channel viewers, who are devoted fans of cinema and music," said Laura Michalchyshyn, executive vp and GM, programming and creative affairs.
In addition, Sundance has acquired rights to 20 films out of the Sundance fest, including features, docus and shorts. The titles include the features Four Sheets to the Wind, The Legacy, Noise and Red Road and the docus Autism Every Day, Manda Bala and Manufactured Landscapes.
The acquisition continues the channel's annual practice of scouting the festival for new titles, which resulted in the acquisition of 12 films from the 2005 festival and 32 from last year's.
