Looking back, this pilot was definitely doomed from the get go. I wanted to find some good within this cartoon, but no. It's lazy, unoriginal, and unfunny. And yet, how come the Loud House didn't get the same treatment??
None of the characters interested me, the humor is nonexistent, Mama Mia is an Italian stereotype, and it's no wonder this pilot lost to Billy and Mandy.
And yes, it involves a stuck up cat and a stupid dog. Because that's original, right?
Nothing about this pilot makes any sense. It's clear that Chris Savino wanted to make the Cartoon Network version of CatDog, because both dogs are voiced by Tom Kenny. My advice, stay away from this pilot!
