Behind the Scenes with 'Jaws: The Revenge' (1987)

Michael Caine, Lorraine Gary, Lance Guest, Mario Van Peebles, Karen Young and director Joseph Sargent are among the people who are interviewed for this television special that was meant to promote JAWS: THE REVENGE. I'm not going to lie, I actually enjoy this film on many levels so getting to see these behind-the-scenes clips were terrific. It was also interesting hearing from the director and cast as they talk about what they're trying to do with the film and of course not knowing what critical beating they were all going to take.
There are a lot of great scenes where we see the crew filming either on the ocean or in the tanks that were built on Universal Studios. What's also fascinating is that one of the biggest goofs in the movie is when Caine gets out of the water with dry clothes on. What's so funny is that there's a clip here showing them putting water on him and the actor talks about being covered by water. Did they accidentally use an outtake or a rehearsal clip in the movie? I guess we will never know but fans will certainly enjoy this special.
