The U.S.M.C. "Marine Corps Forces Pacific" are located at U.S.M.C. Kaneohe Air Base at the Northern side of Oahu.
The other location that is located at Aiea (Island of Oahu) Hawaii is U.S.M.C. Camp Smith, Joint Services Headquarters Pacific Command, being that the U.S.M.C. is a part of the U.S. Navy the Admiral (U.S. Pacific Command) is actually the Boss of the Commander of U.S.M.C. Camp Smith, at the Southern side of Oahu, Camp Smith does NOT have an Air Strip nor Runway, as sits on top of Red Hill.
A long time ago, I trained the U.S.M.C. Force Recon to be more like U.S. Army Special Forces as what would become U.S.M.C. MARSOC, the U.S. Navy demanded, the U.S.M.C. Officers were opposed they only wanted their U.S.M.C. Force Recon to do Force Reconnaissance, and NO U.S. Army Special Forces Direct Actions (DA, Raids, Ambushes,etc.), Humanitarian Assistance (HA), Foreign Internal Defense (FID). Search And Rescue (SAR), Rescue Recapture Recovery ("Triple RRR"), etc. as required College or University Level Cultural Anthropology and Language for each Nation Deployed to (same that the U.S. Navy S.E.A.L.s do not require). So long ago as Officer Grade O-4 (No Name INTENTIONALLY) wearing the U.S.M.C. "Utilities" Vietnam EDRL Camoflague (I still have in my Closet, that were hand me downs from the U.S. Army at the end of the Vietnam War bought by the U.S. Navy and given to the U.S.M.C. as their "New Uniform", the U.S. Military had switched back to O.G. 107 Fatigues Two Pocket Shirt, almost O.D. Green Civilian Pants, black leather boots), stuck between the U.S. Navy Admirals And the U.S.M.C. Officers, glad when I was done doing the Transition, I got sent (Deployed) elsewhere (back to the Federal Republic of Germany, deployed to Combat from Germany). The only thing that was great was got to see my Father (CW4 U.S. Army) and Mother at Hawaii, sister University of Hawaii (UH) Manoa U.S. Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps.
So yes, I know where the U.S.M.C. are and are NOT, doing this kind of inaccuracy is what is killing Magnum P.I., and Hawaii Five - 0 (see Hawaii U.S. Citizens comments to Articles of Star Advertiser, Hawaii's Newspaper)
