Big Wow

Warning: Spoilers
I had a sneaking speculation going into this episode that it was going to turn out to be more than just a cut and dry monster of the week. Opening with Sam's nightmare absolutely blew my mind, we haven't had any talk of Demon-Blood-Sam in what, ten seasons? Is this dream/vision from an alternate universe? A not so distant future? (Leaning towards AU because BENNY!!) How does it tie into Sam's gunshot wound from the Equalizer? How deep does this connection to Chuck really go? This storyline is by far the one I'm most interested in this year, though that may be my Sam favoritism showing. I'm just so happy for him to have a main storyline.

I was also surprised to see Becky show up in this way, but her scenes with Chuck were top notch, and I'm extremely anxious about this ending that he wrote for the Winchesters. The very end of the episode was a tear jerker for sure (thanks Jared Padalecki), and I'm starting to get pretty worried about my Winchester boys. I sincerely hope that the episodes to come are even better than this great outing. Good job behind the camera, Jensen!

"I Can't Forget Any Of Them..." (15x04)
Sam_Ash_768 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Season 15 started out a little rough, episodes 1 and 2 weren't episodes I particularly loved, but this blew me away. The opening five minutes were perfectly directed with an awesome cameo and fantastic action. The monster of the week story line was really entertaining, the vampire mystery was fun to watch and not completely predictable... but what made this one stuck out was the dialogue between Sam and Dean.

I love Castiel, don't get me wrong. However, having Sam and Dean just by themselves for an episode is awesome, they have the best on screen chemistry of pretty much any two characters in television. The Chuck story line was incredible, for me, I was a little conflicted on God deciding to get the approval of his ex girlfriend on his stories... I thought that was initially a bit of a lame story to tell... well, it paid off. The murder of all of Becky's family was terrifying, Chuck's continuing spiral into madness makes the episode really enjoyable to watch.

The last 5 minutes were a particular stand out too, I loved the dialogue between Sam and Dean, the decision to keep on going and fight the good fight in the memories of the people they've lost was nice to see. Hearing Sam talk about Jessica again, even if its only for a brief moment, was fantastic. It reminds us of how far the boys have come since the pilot episode.

POSITIVES:
  • Fantastic opening sequence.
  • Awesome Monster Of The Week Story line.
  • Chuck story line was fantastic.
  • No Dean and Castiel drama.
  • Incredible last five minutes.

NEGATIVES:
  • Sam and Dean outsmarted by that family... Surely by now the boys should be preparing more to make sure that these situations of being held at gunpoint aren't going to happen... I mean, its been 15 seasons.

SCORE: 9.0/10

(Edit: My episode didn't have any narration... Just wanted to state that)

There isn't any narration in this episode, annoying or otherwise. They must have watched an episode with SAP (Secondary Audio Program) on, which is used to describe scenes for the visually impaired. This was a great episode. Loved it!.

The first 3 minutes when Sam was dreaming literally blew my mind and I was so happy to get to see Benny again. And i really didn't expect to see Becky again but she was a good addition to the episode too. That was a great episode , I hope we see more of this in the rest of the season.

Old School Vibes!

Warning: Spoilers
This was simply a good old fashioned episode of Supernatural! The Winchesters out on the road together working a case just felt so right. We got some great funny moments/scenes with Sam and Dean again finally. Jensen Ackles did a phenomenal job directing this episode & hearing his song was pretty damn cool! The one thing I didn't really care for this episode was Chuck. I'm not really liking what the writers doing with him so far this season, but there's still plenty of episodes left for them to improve. Lastly, seeing Becky & Benny again was so great!!! All in all, I loved this episode a ton & hope we get more like this in S15.

Don't listen to the others
robinknutsen-983448 November 2019
This was an amazing episode! And i want to point out, NO NARRATOR. People leave bad reviews and claim there is a narrator speaking over the episode. They must have downloaded some other version. The start was mindblowing, followed by an intriguing plot with an even more intriguing side plot, and finished off by 2 excellent and satisfying endings that leaves you wanting to watch the next one.

I can't help but laugh at all the people that thought that the episode was being narrated lol I watched that version for about a minute before I realised and watched a different one. I can't believe people actually sat through the entire episode with that going on hahaha

God and vamp

The God part was pretty good. The motw was ok but nothing special. The opening raises curiosity because we see this in the first ep when Cas tries to heal Sam.

Absolutely incredible

Warning: Spoilers
(The actual episode has no narrator, its the not-really-legal-links that were released soon after the episode air that contained it. Check newer ones)

This episode deserves 10/10 in many aspects. I have loved Jensen's directing, ever since Weekend at Bobby's, and 30 seconds in the episode's scene, that I'd love this too. He did an amazing job, and I was so proud and excited to hear his song being playe during one of the scenes. Benny's return was very brief but so exciting. I was always a fan of their friendship, and even that small little bit made me very happy- and emotional. Demon blood!Sam gave me chills, and Sam's 'visions'/dreams is something I'm very excited and very scared to see explored further. Becky's return, initially disappointed me because she was really not my favorite, but her redemption arc was very much appreciated; she's finally a normal person. In her words : nobody mentions Cas , and I did miss him in this episode. However, we got our MOTF, some comic relief (that's AWESOME, meat man) and my favorite, Sam's emotional speech in the end. Jared continues to deliver beautifully written heartbreak with his performances, and with what Chuck has apparently planned, I'm both anxious and eager to be emotionally destroyed. 10/10 without a second thought.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand the rating this one has. The story is completely forgettable: There's this nightmare Sam has at the beginning that's never even mentioned. Dean tells Sam there's a case they should work on while saying he won't eat veggie bacon (I don't need to say it was poorly written). Dean thinks the school's mascot is cool, who's supposed to be a very intelligent kid, but that doesn't matter because he only appears like two times and has no dialogues. Some girl gets kidnapped. Sam and Dean see some footage and they know who did it by looking at the license plate. They go to the house where the girl is being kept. Some unimportant dialogues go by and turns out the vampire was the lacrosse kid all along (who by the way had a scene with a girl that acted like she was the vampire but three minutes after she appeared on camera they knew she wasn't, because she had braces, then she never appeared again). After a quick encounter, the parents who supposedly loved very much their son, kind of agree that they'll frame him to be the kidnapper, and that he'll go with Sam and Dean (it's possible they don't know Sam and Dean are gonna chop their son's head off, but I mean c'mon). Sam and Dean take him to the woods and Dean chops his head off. Then the episode for Sam and Dean actually starts whent they have a believable conversation about Rowena and Jack dying, but that only lasts a couple of minutes before the episode returns to the other story that's been developed here, which lasts about 15 min. and involves Becky and God. Basically God feels bad and needs Becky to praise him and make his ego feel better. She tells him he can only feel good if he writes something, so he does, but Becky doesn't like it that much. So God writes a dark and hopeless ending and then disappears Becky and her family. This story happens intermittently with the other one. When Becky remarks that God wrote a lazy story I actually thought God was writing what happened in the other story and I think the writers thought that too but then that idea was kind of dropped when God writes what's supposed to be the finale. Storytelling and editing didn't help making that clear, so who knows. In the end this episode brings you no new information other than Sam and Dean feeling sad and God maybe starting to act like God and not like a powerless, depressed teenager.

Acting was fine for the main characters in this episode, they didn't have to much to work with. Cinematography was as it normally is in Supernatural episodes. Editing was mediocre. Writing killed this episode.

A 5 is the most accurate rating: insufficient and they should try again.

pejon-4654310 November 2019
That was such a great episode , loved every single second of it , Ackles is a wonderful director and uhh singer . And for the negative reviews because of the narration , It's not the show's fault that you pirated the episode ,It's yours!! Just stop giving low ratings to the episode because of that. Get a legal streaming service or at least find a better place that shares pirated content lol

Warning: Spoilers
First of all I just want to point out that there was no narration in the episode. Ok now that that's over with, I actually really liked this episode. I love what they did with Becky, she stood up to chuck and realized how she was crazy before and fixed it. Chuck need to relax like I don't know why he had to do that to Becky and her family, I felt so bad. The plot twist was great, and I love how the kid sacrificed himself, it was so sad. Overall, it was a great episode.

A Page Takes A New Turn
Adam-092658 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Great episode directed by Jensen Ackles, the story takes a new twist and becomes a build up to the remaining season.

The beginning apocalypse scene was exciting to watch too with an action movie appeal, dark fluid cinematography and John Wick style choreography.

For the rest of the episode, i wonder what Chuck has install for the Winchesters now he's started to write again, which i don't think it's him back to his old games, he's writing closure this time. Guess we can only find out.

Excellent episode
keekanleavy9 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Very impressed with this dark episode of supernatural from Sam's dream/vision to the way the case played out with the young man accepting he must die and not fighting the Winchesters makes there job seem more tragic as he seemed like a good man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time to get turned into a vampire and Becky Rosen was unlucky with chuck deciding he can do anything because he's god and then deciding to massacre her family and then her ohh I never thought I'd feel so bad for her but I guess that shows how excellent storytelling pays off. Easter eggs and cameos were great also. Overall excellent episode full Marks as far as I'm concerned don't know about everyone else but this feels very exciting and entices me for what's to come with all storylines!!

Another snooze fest
larosaj-266669 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Hilarious to read all these high ratings and adulations. Vampire kid kills people, parents protect..........snooze. Sure the first couple minutes in an alternate reality were cool but probably meaningless but then......snooze. The lackluster season continues. The Chuck scenes are like nails on a chalkboard. God = bad. If he really existed that would be the case anyway. Just counting down the eps hoping there's a good one in there somewhere besides the season premiere. So far it's been a whimper......

You have one of the character names incorrect.

Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely loved this episode. The meta ones are always good. I was happy that Becky Rosen was brought back. And it was nice to see Dean being upbeat again. His lines made me laugh. That scene at the beginning was really "awesome," as Dean would say. I just wanted to clarify that Mellany Barros played Veronica, not Tori, as it says on your list of character names.

Impressive
keekanleavy8 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Flawless storytelling with dark endings for many characters. Chuck shows his potential as the final villain curios to see how can be stopped. Felt bad for the young man who dean ended up decapitated by dean in the end it didn't help that he had accepted his fate .... one might even say he decided to die so sad and shows how bad the boys job can be sometimes . The people saying sam and dean should die at the end of this season are heartless towards them they deserve a better ending than that a more hopeful one!! Easter eggs for 5×04 the end were great sam killing 2014 dean as lucifer and ten years later in 15×04 demon blood sam kills dean in alternate reality. Many great callbacks to various seasons. Excellent episode full Mark's.

P.s. I even felt terrible for beck rosen great job supernatural!!
