The Simpson's has never been anti-American political cartoon - Till now. Canada is a great country. And so is my homeland of America. I am disgusted and shocked that anyone would think making an entire episode criticizing America is funny or entertaining. Thanks for ruining yet another cartoon I once enjoyed.

This episode is great and makes fun of a lot of todays politics and stereotypes... The right will hate it and l see several giving it 1 star just because it mocks America and Trump, it also kicks against Canada/Trudeau.

Down in the drain

If the show was circling the drain ever since 30th season started... Well, let's be honest, the show has been circling the drain since the Armin Tanzarian episode, over 20 years ago.

Anyhow, 30th season has been especially terrible, completely focused on pampering leftists with flat jokes that fail to land every single time. Simpsons has always been leaning to liberal side, but it was hard to find an episode where at least one good joke didn't landed. 30th season changed that: almost every episode so far was devoid of laughs. The only exception was the mildly funny episode with J.K. Simmons.

All the other episodes were Lisa heavy overflowing with leftist propaganda disguised as bad jokes or "satire". This episode in particular was really bad, with a history so muddled and confusing, that you can swear from the couch gag that's actually a rerun. Even with a Mt. Spashmore joke from the old days that, incredibly, failed hard to land.

Thanks for reading my rant, and I want to let you know - if you care about - that The Simpsons are dead for me. They died an awfully slow death since "You Only Move Twice" (definitely the last good classic Simpsons' episode), but alas, it's over now. I'd rather not waste my time anymore with it. Or just watch one of the classic first 9 seasons episodes. They're still golden and among some of the best TV shows ever made.

What a speedy decline

This show used to be so much fun but has been more and more political over the years. This episode was a breaking point. All out "we hate America because it sucks and antwhere else is better." I'm not even American. I laughed once, though. Ottawa Senators are a joke indeed.

This season is trash. I don't care about American politics and it feels like some kind of political agenda has been jammed down my throat the whole season. The Simpsons used to be funny, this season has just been cringy and hard to watch. This episode was the last straw.

My opinion, not yours, agree, disagree!

POSTIVES Colour-The show is very colourful.

NEGATIVES Story- Sorry but the story line makes no sense for me. Flat- With the story line around Lisa and Marge arguing to stay in Canada, it's a boring flat storyline. Humour- There was very little humour in this episode, don't be disappointed!

OVERALL This episode, I was looking forward to, but at the end I was disappointed and asking myself, what time is it? Time for Bed? Is it the worst episode? No, but it's definitely not great, good or okay, it's just flat and boring, so indeed D'OH.

Complete prpaganda. Why they never mention the fact that the taxes are much higher with some healthcares. Anyway, that was just a political propaganda and the episode was not even funny.

Next time when Lisa said the president sucks it has to be Biden because he's a goddamn dictator.

I get very angry that homer said Upstate New York is the one the never decline and it was never this great well, he's wrong Upstate is declining in the past several years for killing and high cost of living.

Why can't Upstate should be affordable like Ohio, Alabama, and Virginia.

I heard that Canada is losing their lives of free health care because of Justin Trudeau after winning the 2021 election that's why democrats are dangerous these days.

I feel like every American goes through a short phase where they go "sigh, if only I was born in Canada." Maybe they wish this to seem more unique, or maybe they feel as thought they'd be more accepted up north. As someone who genuinely grew up considering moving to Canada as an identity thing, I eventually grew out of this phase after realizing that Canada isn't some magic wonderland. It's basically just America except its government doesn't make sense and it has better healthcare. Thats it. Nothing more. Doing any amount of research on the country (that isn't clickbait articles praising them for existing) can tell you the country has several flaws, just like any other country. However some people don't grow out of this phase, and write something like this. Its just... nothing. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, it's just embarrassing. They throw in the occasional knock at Canada, like bringing up Trudeaus scandal or something about baby seals at the end; but that doesn't make up for how stupid this episode is. I imagine most Canadians would roll their eyes at this, imagining all the one note, NPR liberals frothing at the mouth seeing themselves becoming Canadian because they claim they don't feel safe in America. I guess they'll feel more safe in Canada since they're not an indigenous woman in British Columbia, or a Muslim woman in Quebec.
