Combine the wildest March Madness Cinderella story with, undeniably, the most tragic loss ever experienced during a sporting event, and top it off with the most heartwarming, unbelievable, Rudy-esqu celebration wins, all recounted by the people who witnessed it first-hand, and you have the greatest documentary not created by Ken Burns! Absolutely incredible! The entire tale is recounted through personal, emotionally charged, interviews, paired with still photos and tons of archived videos, interviews, broadcasts and home movies. It's an emotional rollercoaster, right out the gate, but it's all so beautifully presented, like no other documentary I've seen. I've been a lifelong NASCAR fan and also a documentary fan, and I have never seen anything like this. It's officially one of my favorite films (if all genres.) I will certainly be watching it again and again, and I highly recommend y'all do the same.
