The title says it all, if you watch this for anything else besides the soundtrack and cinematography, you will only see a cheesy as hell romance movie. I have not seen Midori no Machi, but I still had a good time with this one. I highly recommend it only for the shot composition. But there are other much more visually captivating movies out there than this one, I don't recommend hunting for a copy if you can find one as it was not worth the 9,999 JPY I paid for it. I also don't speak Japanese, so I had no clue what they were saying. Anyways, I hope you do have some enjoyment of it when you do find a copy.
