When you have a two year old screaming at you about unicorns for 30 minutes. You better get some gd unicorns for her. We bought this garbage based on the title that said it was a unicorn adventure, and the picture that showed several unicorns. We are currently more than an hour in an not even a mention of unicorns. I hate you.

Don't expect a lot of unicorns

There are no unicorns in this movie. I hate this movie and RedBox. Mt daughter picked this based on the picture on RedBox. You don't even see a single unicorn until almost the end.

A metaphysical delight

You plan on watching a unicorn movie but instead you get an animated "Raiders of the Lost Ark" knockoff, minus the Nazis and faces melting off... my five year old daughter felt very misled, but I say touché, well played, random Amazon Prime Video movie. This was the greatest movie I've ever seen, it was pure camp - the hilariously tragic, the tragically hilarious.
Animation Was Fairly Good

The main positive, contrary to the cover photo, is that the animation quality was 3D & surprisingly fairly natural in expressions & movement, also the exotic backgrounds were interesting & colorful. Probably more for the older grade school & up to adult level storytelling. Some may not want to expose children to the few scenes with buffoon nasties, but the concept of good over coming bad is a good message for kids.
If you like Indiana Jones you will like this, Definitely worth Watching

This movie is worth watching especially if you like Indiana Jones. I really like this movie, great fantasy, scenery, plots and clues but some scenes were not necessary. The big neighbor did not need to go on the trip with them. The main (Fransotti) villain kept getting away with things and not getting challenged enough-the villain kept showing up and it's not developed enough to show how he always finds out where the hero is going. Still worth watching. There needs to be a sequel
Two siblings, 10-year-old Mo & 13-year-old Melody seek the help of their father's dear friend, scientist & explorer Professor Shonku find their missing father who left earlier on a quest in search of the legendary unicorn and other fantastical creatures. On their journey, they encounter several adventures and interesting clues leading them closer to their father. Will they find him? They do encounter setbacks and challenges from the evil Fransotti who is always trying to steal professor Shonku's ideas. A great family movie, some scenes not suitable for kids under 10.
