The second episode ratched up the humor and craziness for the series. The interactions between Carell, the scientists, and the chimp are the highlight of the series so far. Malkovich is a gem as the most sane person in the room. I especially like that the science is not too futuristic but fairly plausible.

This episode was much funnier than the first one. It actually managed to make me smile. This episode shows there are quirky and interesting things you can do with the subject matter. Hopefully the show continues on an upward trajectory, no pun intended.
Picking it up slowly..

Funny as hell

This was funny as hell. I loved the monkey business. Best episode so far for me. I love the idiocy of Steve Carell's character against the scientists.
This was so funny that even the 2 line summary of the episode makes me laugh. Summary: With his beloved satellite severely hobbled, General Naird must decide between a well-reasoned scientific solution and a chimp-led rescue operation.

Warning: Spoilers
Why can't we just enjoy the laugh?
this is a crazy world in our real life already, i have to hide from news so i don't get drown in sadness.
they instructed a chimp to fix a space craft, that's really a brilliant idea; everything is so realistic based on America culture, of course someone will secretly send weapons to space; of course the military would come up with the idea of bombing it first. the only thing not realistic is, I don't think green card holder and O1 visa will be allowed to work in such a project. :D
I love it

Warning: Spoilers
I am going to be honest. 1st episode I didn't laugh at all. The 2nd episode had some legit funny parts. The chimp was hilarious, the grandpa in bed next to older wife, fingers crossed it gets better. Still not as good as the office
I think this is where I leave the show

Similar to the pilot, it's just missing the mark. I'm seeing the attempts at being funny but it's just kinda cringey. The episode's plot is silly and doesn't have me engaged at all. Steve's character has this weird forced voice thing going on and I really can't get behind it, either.
Unfortunately I don't love Steve Carrell enough to 'force' my way through this one.

Ridiculous

I enjoyed the first episode, but this one was just absolutely absurd. Somewhat cringey levels of unrealistic insanity coupled with some less than great acting and it was just ridiculous.
It has some slightly funny moments, but overall it just felt like it really missed the mark, and almost as if it's somewhat aimed at not very intelligent people with its amount of idiocy.
Disappointing as I feel like this show had more potential.
They are making fun of TRUMP!
